Move Mentor, Where Movement Builds Confidence!
Move Mentor is a community organisation at the core of getting our community moving, smiling and growing together! From energetic football sessions to confidence boosting boxing classes, our programmes are designed to help young people (and soon adults too!) stay active, build resilience and have fun. Tired of seeing your kids spending too much time on their screens?? We have the perfect solution! Every Monday, we bring the buzz at our newly formed Youth Centre, with engaging activities for boys and girls, followed by empowering sports and boxing sessions for older kids. Then on Sundays, it’s game time at our football sessions from where teamwork, skills, and smiles take centre stage.
And for the grown-ups? Our Boxercise for Adults is launching soon: A fun, high-energy way to stay fit, beat stress and feel great!
The Move Mentor Team Values
At Move Mentor, we don’t just coach sports: we inspire confidence, connection and a sense of community through every movement.
Through our approach, young people don’t just learn sport, they build character and confidence. The shared vision of our coaches and background staff is a simple yet powerful one: to help individuals of all ages move with purpose, connect with others and grow stronger together – physically, mentally and socially.

Coach Wasim
With a professional foundation in Business Management and Forensic Audit, Wasim spent over a decade working in a field that demanded precision, deep analytical thinking and investigative expertise. Rising to the role of Forensic Audit Director of Special Projects, he led high-level, complex work requiring strategic oversight and exceptional attention to detail.
Five years ago, Wasim made a purposeful shift, choosing to dedicate his talent, leadership and passion toward community sports coaching. Since then, he has been delivering sports sessions and holiday camps across East London, using sport as a pathway for children to build confidence, social skills, and positive friendships. He also runs football sessions for Home-Educated children, placing strong emphasis on inclusion, emotional development and nurturing a sense of belonging. Currently he PE teaches rugby and basketball at primary schools.
Wasim has also established and managed men’s community and semi-professional football teams, where he champions a strong culture-first approach built on inclusivity, accountability, growth and enjoyment – values that have created meaningful change for many players.
At Move Mentor, Wasim brings this same commitment, energy and heart. As Lead Coach, he ensures every programme is safe, inclusive and development-focused, supporting both the physical and mental wellbeing of everyone who takes part.
